The 2019 Trudel(l)(le) Family Gathering

The 2019 Annual Family Get-Together will be held in Laval, QC.

This year’s theme will be: ‘Looking towards the Future!”

As you may recall, last year (i.e. in 2018) we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of our Association’s Re-birth. Thus, from its humble beginnings in 1908, throughout the years, our association has been able to survive thanks to the interest and the generosity of its membership; but also (perhaps most importantly) thanks to the selfless benevolence of its volunteers.

This year, as we will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our news bulletin: Ad Sum; the Board of Directors felt that the time was right to begin thinking about our association’s future.  We hope that you will agree that we came up with a very unique and playful way to dream about the future! This year’s guest of honor will be one of Québec’s most highly respected science-fiction writers: Mr. Jean-Louis Trudel!

Petit Guide de la Science-Fiction au Québec, éditions ALYRE

Mr. Jean-Louis Trudel is a university professor.  He has 2 Masters’ Degrees and a Ph.D. His fields of expertise include: physics, astronomy, science history and philosophy.

For this year’s event, Mr. Trudel will be talking about
« Science-Fiction and Climate Change ».

You won’t want to miss this year’s gathering as we gather in the Greater Montreal Area to dream about the future!
